Described as London’s best kept secret, East Dulwich is fast becoming known as a mecca for foodies who flock to Lordship Lane (within fifteen minutes walk away) for its eclectic mix of funky shops and restaurants. Aspiring chefs will enjoy a choice of organic butchers, delicatessens and greengrocers, a fresh fish shop and even an old fashioned sweet shop Hope & Greenwood which is great for souvenirs for sweety lovers back home. Prefer to eat out? A range of award winning restaurants such as Franklins and the Palmerston may tempt you and don’t forget to have afternoon tea at Blue Mountain cafe, Le Chandelier or Luca’s Bakery. Walk off the calories in Peckham Rye where a lovely cafe serves breakfast, lunch and tea or take a stroll through Dulwich Park and drop by Dulwich Picture Gallery for a spot of culture. Right on our doorstep is a small shop with late night shopping for most items, the French cafe serves breakfast, lunch and tea or head to the traditional English pub the Herne Tavern for heartier fare and a surprisingly untraditional beer garden all within a few minutes stroll.

The nearest tube station is Honor Oak railway station.
