Victorian town house to rent in quiet Pimlico mews

Type: House

4 Bedrooms • 4 Bathrooms • Sleeps 8

Sleeps 8

£ 535 /night

Ref: 2036

What I like best about this house is the layout as well as the elegant, traditional decor. Each floor has a separate function: the garden floor having two bedrooms ensuite and the top two floors have a bedroom and bathroom each giving privacy to all! On a sunny day the outside terrace is the perfect place to read the papers and have brunch!

Living Space:

On the first floor is a formal drawing room with good natural light coming from the French doors which open on to a small balcony at the front of the house. The soft furnishings are elegantly comfortable: sofas, chairs, coffee table and there’s some interesting artwork. There is a large TV and DVD and Wifi runs throughout the house.

Cooking & Dining:

The open plan ground floor has lovely dark oak floors and is furnished with an antique dining  table seating 8. The kitchen area has fitted units with a gas hob, double electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer.

Just three steps away from the kitchen is a door leading out onto this lovely terrace over looking the mews.

The garden floor has a guest double bedroom with ensuite power shower cubicle, basin and loo. The other guest bedroom could be either a twin or single bedroom which also has a small en-suite wet-room with basin and loo.

Upstairs on the 2nd floor is the master bedroom with a 6 ft wide super king size double bed, fitted wardrobes and en-suite bathroom: power shower cubicle, bath with shower attachment, double basin and loo.

A large guest bedroom on the top floor has a 5ft wide queen size bed, wardrobes and ensuite bathroom with a power shower cubicle, bath and loo.

TV, DVD, Wifi, iPod dock.

Below the terrace is a car port for one car and bikes.

Minimum rental is 7 nights.

Moreton Terrace is towards the Southern extent of Pimlico, near Dolphin Square and Pimlico tube station. Victoria Station is about 10 minutes on foot and transport links are good. Shopping in nearby Lupus Street is utilitarian but adequate for everyday necessities. For better local shops and dining, it’s probably worth the short walk to Wilton Road. Pimlico Road with it’s more enticing restaurants and antique shops is about 15 minutes walk; Tate Britain, Westminster and King’s Road are also easily walkable.

The nearest tube station is Pimlico, a 5 minute walk.
