Experience Historic London as you have never done so before in this wonderful period 4-bedroom house on Princelet Street.

Princelet Street

This street is frequently used as a film and television location, as it is Grade II listed so virtually untouchable. You’ll notice the original features of its 1717 build throughout the house.

Living Space:

Princelet Street

The living room has a fabulously rustic feel to it with creaking wood floors, an operational fireplace and views onto the other houses on the street. A flat screen TV helps you feel more at home in the 21st century while the adjoining dining area has French doors leading onto a perfectly manicured walled lawn and terrace – which also features, lest we forget, a cedar hot tub and 6 seater al fresco dining table.

Cooking & Dining:

Princelet Street

The kitchen is a massive selling point of this house. With a large wooden dinner table that seats 8 comfortably, an open fireplace with an original sink, gas range hob and oven and a large fridge/freezer, it’s the ideal example of modern yet rustic chic.

Princelet Street

The bedrooms follow very much on the same path as the rest of the house – all have operational fireplaces (as do 2 of the bathrooms), double beds and are gloriously spacious. The free standing bath and exposed brick fireplace in the master bathroom is really something to behold – leaving a toss up between that and the vast Jacuzzi bathroom (or should we say, Spa) on the ground floor.

Minimum rental is 14 nights.

Venturing beyond the street itself with its many stories to tell, the property is in the centre of one of the hippest parts of town. Whatever else you do, do not venture farther than the attractions that are right on your doorstep on a Sunday. In the immediate (immediate) vicinity of the street is the infamous Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market. Stalls here offer up everything from artwork to clothes to jewellery to baked goods to household trinkets to whatever the local vendors found on their travels. Sample the authentic Asian cuisine in the Old Truman Brewery or go for an English fry-up at the Breakfast Club.

If markets aren’t your bag, there’s a wide selection of lesser-known museums and sights – why not try Dennis Server’s house on Folgate Street or the Whitechapel Art Gallery. One thing is for sure – you won’t be short of ideas.

The quickest way to get to Stratford is a 10 minute walk to Liverpool Street Station where you get a train to Stratford in 7 minutes.
